End of the road. The shops which they called home, the birthplace of thousands upon thousands of flatcars, hoppers and gondolas, the famed Johnstown Car Shops of Bethlehem Steel are now but a memory. Sitting amongst the rubble that once employed many a resident of the Flood City, my grandfather included, the two little fellows will too meet their demise a few months after this portrait.
