| BNSF 4592 and UP 6500 descend the east side of the Soldier Summit grade in Price River Canyon below Kyune. The train consists entirely of TILX aluminum hoppers. It continued on down to Helper where it stopped for a crew change. In spite of the BNSF leader this is a UP train bound for the West Elk mine in western Colorado running with BNSF pool power. Its destination after loading is Wasco, California after being interchanged to the BNSF at Barstow, CA. |
