| Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway No.9 'Limpopo' stands in the goods yard whilst No.10 slips violently as it runs in to Stony Shaw station with a goods train. The two John Fowler (Leeds) Ltd. locomotives featured in this night shot at the Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway in Kent are, on the left No.9 'Limpopo' which spent it's working life on the Sena Sugar Estates in Mozambique at Marromeu mill, being returned to the UK for restoration in 1998. The second machine is No.10 which also served on the Sena Esates at the Mopeia mill. No. 10 was also returned to the UK in 1998 but required to be regauged from 500mm to 2 foot in order to run at Bredgar. More info here http://www.bwlr.co.uk/locos.php |
