A man and his machine. Normally the Shop Foreman, Eddy Symons chases the SOO #2719 on its trip from Duluth to Two Harbors and makes sure no problems arise. Once in Two Harbors, Ed fires up the helper locomotive, #4211, to assist the ol' girl back up the hill. The F9 has its share of quirks for sure, but after spending so much time running the Erie Mining lifer, no one loves her more than Ed.
