Respondek Railroad painted former Union Pacific, SD 40-2, 3086, into Illinois Terminal colors commemorating the IT 100th anniversary of the St. Louis Terminal being opened. The Illinois Terminal was a small railroad, at its peak had 550 miles of railroad, that served central Illinois and St. Louis, MO, area, from 1895 to 1981. On May 8, 1982, the railroad was merged into the Norfolk Western officially.
