| The FRED light of the westbound train has faded out of sight, just past the eastbound in the hole nearly a mile a way. Behind me, the exhaust is still billowing out of the west portal of the Cascade tunnel. The eastbound has a few more minutes before it is safe to proceed into the 7.8 mile long concrete lined bore that is BNSF's legacy to the ghosts of Wellington. |
