Sunday morning, July 4 1954, was alive with action at the CP terminal throat tracks including this outbound Budd RDC and 2471 crewman giving it a rollby, oilcan in hand. The man on the left is one of John's NYC railfan buddies whom he traveled with for this Canadian railfan weekend, Bill Rosenberg. Also sharing the ride was Martin Shacknee and Arnold Joseph, all mentors to the 22-year old photographer. The CN car in the CP consist in the distance over on the right is an anomaly in this otherwise pure CP scene.
