| The morning school train hauled by L 1156 seen here near Garfield. These locomotives were built in the UK by English Electric and imported to Australia. They were magnificent to drive with a 36 notch controller of which only 6 were running notches off the grids. Sadly they went the way of the GG1 and others of that kind. |
