| This was one of a hundred diesel-electric A1A-A1A locos built by Baldwin in the USA for the SNCF in 1946-47. It is seen with empty coaching stock that includes a typical French 'Fourgon' and a Nord compartment carriage. Originally numbered in the 040DA ser1es, they were later renumbered BB 62001 to 100. Note the the Nord 141TC suburban 2-8-2T in the background. |
