| The clocks have moved to daylight saving, so the last two trains of the day run in darkness. Station Master Peter Carpenter sees the 17:20 away from Hythe as the signalman prepares to radio New Romney "#2 in section on the down at 17:20" . Only the 17:55 to dispatch and another day's work will be done. |
