Its an uncommon day in Pullman. The Washington & Idaho unlocks the UP Junction switch to head west for the first time in a year. BNSF has called back 10,000' of well cars. The first 5,000' will be pulled out and taken north today. Down this line includes blockage of Grand Ave, the activation of Washington's only remaining wig-wag, and the chance to see some rare running down the dead-end line. It once went to Colfax and UP at Ayer but a bridge burned down between Pullman and Colfax. Now its used for car storage. Washington State University stands tall in background, educating students from Washington and beyond.
