Remarks & Notes |
The Amtrak Clocker to Philadelphia heads west while a Conrail local from Trenton heads east. Clockers held that name since PRR days as they left at the top of the hour on their runs from NYC to Philly (and back). Truly commuter trains, they didn't really fit in Amtrak's mission (although they lasted until 2005). The Jersey Arrow II on the Trenton train was a GE product from 1975 and was the newest commuter train on the road at the time (Jersey Arrow IIIs were being stored as they were delivered). They Arrow IIs lasted until 1997. |
