Remarks & Notes |
"Three For One." The BNSF transcontinental mainline is in typical full swing on a beautiful autumn evening in the Mojave Desert. An eastbound drag freight is descending the Ash Hill grade near Siberia as a westbound intermodal train climbs near Bagdad. In the distance, nearly 15 miles away, another westbound can be seen passing through the old Route 66 town of Amboy, just about to begin its assault on Ash Hill. |
