| Union Pacific 9450 leads UP 2982 and UP 2976 pulling a 100-car rock train across the Wisconsin River Bridge at Merrimac, southbound from the Pink Lady Quarry the UP owns near Reedsburg on the Reedsburg Subdivision north of Madison. They are on UP tracks leased by the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad, on the 60-mile subdivision. The UP gets about one rock train a day during the warm weather months from the quarry. |
