| Heavy rains on July 7 and 8 caused this washout on the Texas State Railroad about a half mile east of One Arm Creek in Cherokee County, suspending operations indefinitely. A couple weeks later a large pine tree fell, adding insult to injury and knocking ties from the suspended rails. |
