A trio of Lake Superior and Ishpeming RSD12’s works the yard at Eagle Mills, Michigan. The green paint scheme that succeeded the original solid maroon scheme was already obsolete by this time.

After stopping to throw the switch at Empire Junction, LS&I 1850 does what Alco's do best as they continue their journey to the Eagle Mills yard.

The LS&I "7:00 AM Eagle Mills Yard Job" was passing westbound at Eagle Mills Jct. near Negaunee MI on May 27, 1982 with three RSD12s and 120 empty gennies.
