Wesley McDonald Engineer (RIP)! Shunting cars at Brunswick Mines without air attached, engine brakes failed it seems?! left track at or just after the WYE coming from Brunswick Mines at Gloucester Junction(Nepisiguit Subdivision) just before running into the main line ! Cant understand why this train held the rail through 2 sharp turns before the junction at the speeds he was hitting? Must have been some ride? |

Interesting audio recording...looks like quite a mess here but this picture->http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=92278 shows that the frame was not bent. Great shot!! |
