Only a month into the BN merger, GN still looks like GN at the passenger engine facility at the east end of Union Station. A mix of F units and former F heater cars idle while maintenance workers do some track repair in the foreground. Behind the Fs is the former NP passenger commissary. Kellogg Blvd. bridges the railroad, a favorite location for photographing trains entering or leaving Union Station.
