Remarks & Notes
In early morning light Rayonier 14, a Baldwin 2-6-6-2 compound articulated mallet, heads south from Crane Creek reload toward the tide water log dump near Hoquiam some 40 miles away. This was the last major steam powered logging railroad in the Pacific Northwest. This is another one of those old Anscochromes that has been given some semblance of life by Photoshop.
