The Union Pacific Pocatello, Idaho hump switcher grabs a cut of cars from the yard on July 28, 1980. This SD7 and yard slug team worked between June 1974 and November 1982 first in North Platte, Nebraska before moving to Pocatello. The UP S-2 was rebuilt from UP GP9B 341B in June 1974. By 1982 it was paired with UP SD40 No. 3031 until retirement in May 1985 when it was sold for scrap to Southwest Railroad Car Parts in Longview, Texas on April 2, 1987.
