The last Rio Grande locomotive operating on the Union Pacific in original colors and numbers is seen through the open doors of the small enginehouse at Helper, Utah, on November 7, 2007. Very late in a career hauling trains across deserts and mountains, D&RGW EMD SD40T-2 No. 5371 will finally be officially retired on December 8, 2008, and is now preserved at the Utah State Railroad Museum in Ogden.
