Remarks & Notes

The LIRR's fleet of M7s bask in afternoon sunlight while the numerous double slip switches get a workout moving trains in and out of West Side Yard. This yard will be covered up to 11th Street with a high-rise apartment building making this picture impossible in the coming years.
