Two classic Gotthard locomotives of their time, together for the first time since the beautiful reappraisal of the Ae 6/6 # 11411 as a historic locomotive. The Be 4/7 # 12504 with 1770 kW (2400 HP) was built in 1922 by SLM and SAAS, with a then very progressive single axle drive by Westinghouse system, under license by Sécheron. She is now based at the depot Olten and has visited once again the Gotthard route. The Ae 6/6 # 11411 "Zug" dates from 1955, built by SLM, BBC and MFO with 4,300 kW (about 6,000 hp). She is based in Erstfeld, maintained and operated by the SBB Historic team.
