Spectacular view down into the Elbe valley from the Königstein fortress, built on a rock plateau more then 200 meters above the valley floor since the 16th century as one of the largest fortresses in Europe. Rolling through Königstein city, illuminated by a sun spot, is a long steamtrain from Decin (Tetschen) in the Czech Republic to Dresden with locomotives 01 0509 and 03 1010 in front and 23 1097 in the rear. In the background on the left Lilienstein rock formation.
