Sitting on the whisker tracks around the turntable in Southern Pacific's Taylor Yard in Los Angeles, California, is SD45 7425, displaying the results of a recent altercation. This locomotive, built by EMD in March 1967, would be repaired and continue to pull tonnage for the SP and, eventually, Union Pacific, until May 31st, 1999. It would then be sold to Alstom Canada Transport, who would eventually sell it again in 2004 to ANPRO in Montreal, who would scrap it in March of that year.
