St. Paul was blessed with twelve inches of snow on February 20-21 (and this on top of the snow that's fallen since November, which hasn't melted yet). Understandably, the Minnesota Transportation Museum cancelled its Saturday train rides due to weather, with most switches and flangeways packed full of snow and ice. During my visit, several volunteers were out working on the track to make sure the train will be running next weekend. Anderson No. 3110, an ex-Wabash SW-1, was buried up to its axles by drifting snow; it's one of the regulars on the weekend train rides.
