Fourteen cars of pipe creep along at 5 mph through Utah's Goshen Valley, bound for Elberta where it will be used to help construct a 1,679 mile natural gas pipeline line extending from southwestern Wyoming to Bakersfield, California. The pipeline will supply local gas distribution companies, power plants, and heavy industry in Utah, Nevada, and California, owned and operated by the Kern River Gas Transmission Company.
