Remarks & Notes
A solid set of Southern Pacific pool power leads Rio Grande's 177 train through Lehi City minutes after sunrise on June 15, 1989. The lead engine is an EMD GP40P-2, one of only three such units on the roster, built for the Southern Pacific in Nov. 1974.
