| Small train, big bridge. PRR E8s 5809 and 5711 lead a 5-car train over Newark Bay on the former Lehigh Valley Upper Bay Bridge, finished in 1930. The skyline of Newark can be seen beyond the last car of the train. The American Association of Railroad Superintendents used the Juniata Terminal E8s and coaches from Juniata Terminal and the Morristown & Erie on a railtour of the Conrail Shared Assets trackage in northern New Jersey on Sunday, July 21. |
