A pair of Kennecott Copper EMDs take a short journey along the Dike Spur, approaching the Union Pacific interchange yard at Garfield. The high cab EMD GP39-2s featured an additional 26" of elevation above the track for increased visibility when loading copper ore in the Bingham Canyon Copper Mine. The Oquirrh Mountains, State Highway 202, and the ghost town of Garfield mark the background in this view.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
