| A photo that you cant get anymore. CN use to run to Geneva, IA, via ex-M&STL mainline at Ackley. The diamond to access this branchline was taken out of service in early December of 2011. The CN hasn't been up this track since 2008 due to flooding damage and no business. Here in 2004 a local heads back to Ackley with 25 grain loads out of Geneva. The CN still uses the portion south of the diamond to interchange cars with the Iowa River. |
