| The initials of our nation’s eighth largest railroad at the time still proudly proclaim the name of Seaboard Coast Line. Painted on the side of this woodchip hopper in 1970 by Pullman Standard, these three letters have avoided the paint schemes of Family Lines System, Seaboard System and even CSX. Most likely this “SCL” logo will stay on board this car until the day it meets the scrap heap. |
