Remarks: Going to GW and living in Georgetown, I had witnessed the B&O Georgetown local from the inside of a Metro Bus on K Street at night. But this was the only time I saw it in daylight. Here it is passing under the vesitgial arch of razed Aqueduct Bridge and coming off the Water Street/K Street street running. Note the lit fusee used as a running light in the front coupler. The Georgetown Branch aka The GB served the General Services Administration (GSA) Steam Plant on K Street, providing coal for heating the White House and other government buildings.

Nice shot! I saw it once in the day time - I was working my summer job with the electric company in Georgetown looking for an underground line fault where the tracks were in the street near the waterfront. I didn't notice him until he blew his horn to get me off the tracks! Jim
