On the afternoon of the last day of 2009, a Union Pacific North Platte, NE to Roseville, CA manifest heads downgrade through the Weber River Valley just east of Morgan, Utah. The train is picking up speed, having departed the twisty narrows area between Taggarts and Devil's Slide.
