Remarks & Notes

East of Tucson, the Southern Pacific's mainline incorporates the parallel former El Paso & Southwestern main as well. Track 1, the EP&SW line, crosses over Track 2 (the other main) as well as Cienega Creek, as seen here with SP GP60 9728 leading an eastbound manifest on February 12, 1995.
