| Test run of the new "Express Shuttle" in Winterthur freight yard. The project of the construction company "Marti" together with SBB Cargo will transport gravel in containers from Wangen an der Aare to Zürich main station for the new underground station "Löwenstrasse". The first vehicle is a self propelled (diesel 530 kW) ex German Railway "Cargo Sprinter", built in 1996 by Talbot Aachen, and serves for moving the train in upload and unload tracks (without overhead wire) only. The electric Re 4/4 II 11179 in the background will push or pull the train "on the road" and is controlled from the cab of the "Cargo Sprinter". |
