| Remarks: When a derailed hopper has the yard tied up in knots, who ya gonna call? Ya call out "The Big Hook", that's who. In this scene, Nevada Northern's Steam Wrecking Crane A makes short work of putting that bad boy back on the tracks. The 100-tonner is one of the very last of its type that is still capable of operation and the NN Museum still uses her for more than just demonstration purposes. Last year, she was used to install the roof on their new rest room building adjacent to the depot. |
