| A short local freight with a former Conrail leader passes the abandoned Helmetta Snuff Mill on once electrified former PRR trackage. The tracks in the foreground served the once bustling facility, which hired upwards of 500 people in its heyday circa 1910. There are plans to demolish the historical structure (built in 1883) and erect a 'downtown' style area with shops and residences. For another shot of this train farther east, view photo 259394. |
