| The Tenda-Line was from Limone to Ventimiglia out of service until 1979. In 1945 german troops destroyed a lot of bridges and tunnels. The Viaduc de Scarassoui between St. Dalmas and Fontan-Saorge was rebuildt in modern way in 1978/79. A few minutes before the Train passed the upper part of the so called "Berghe-Loop" (named after two little villages Berghe upper and Berghe lower). The Line also in the french part ist operated by Trenitalia, but also french trains of the SNCF could be seen there. |
