Many remains of the Jersey Central Railroad still exist, over thirty years since it was absorbed into Conrail. This bridge, spanning the PRR tracks of Newark's Penn Station, once carried CNJ trains between Newark and Jersey City Terminal. If you look carefully, you can still see the rails in place on the bridge, never to be used again. (Photo #100!)
