USAF #1243) 44-tonner Switcher: This 44-tonner was built in 1953 for the United States Air Force. It worked out of the Whitman Air Force Base in Kansas City. This locomotive was repaired and repainted by the CVSR volunteers in the B&O color scheme. It has been renumbered 21, one higher than the B&O's 44-tonner number (#19 and #20).
