Remarks: Yard transfer job crosses the Cuyahoga river to the east bank where a third crew member is boarding just past the drawbridge from where they will run over to the re-activated Mittal Steel works.

Remarks: ABC local on home track after coming off CSX with interchange cars. Business looks good; they have 20 cars for CSX. CSX local D750 came by within minutes for the pickup. Brakeman prepares for ground duty from the 1502. 1501 and 1502 are configured for maximum crew visibility.

Remarks: Orrville Railroad Historical Society sponsored Fall Loop excursion train departs Medina, Ohio at 4:30 pm heading west for Spencer where the train will turn south back to Orrville after a day circle trip. Trailing engine is an FP-9, but it was nearly dark before it was the lead engine.

Remarks: Commerce re-starts; inventory of Ford vans is building after months of inactivity. Auto racks at the plant are rolling, and Ford blue is pulling them (actually ex-US Steel switcher #1225 that Ford picked up in Lorain from Kobe Steel, the former US Steel plant there). Note the extensive modifications to this old switcher.
