Remarks: With only a few minutes to go until the Bundoora RMIT terminus, this tram has travelled almost 20km from Melbourne's CBD and is climbing a hill on one of the longest routes.
Remarks: During a short burst of sunlight, an X'Trapolis set is seen departing the end of double track at Keon Park, at the beginning of the single track to Epping. Funding for duplication of this section has been allocated as part of the South Morang project.
Remarks: One of only two A-class trams running on St Kilda Rd routes has just departed the world's southern most non-tourist tram stop, running on route 64 to Melbourne University.
Remarks: It would be nice if this train was actually going to Coldstream, as the destination states, which is a disused platform about 5km past the end of the wire at Lilydale!
Remarks: Citybound spark from Upfield leaves the rather dingy station at Macaulay in the inner city. This peculiar location had a freeway built over it in the 1990s, making it immune from any natural light - it was a bright sunny day when I took this!
