Originally Built as the RTA 184, an F40PH-2, The METX 184 pulls south out of Lasalle Street Station, Chicago. This shot is right along Clark Street as the train heads for the 16th Street Diamond.
Warbonnets on freight became more common as more passenger trains disappeared. May have kept the silver units together due to gearing differences with blue units.
