A nice sunset ends what was a brutally hot day in the desert. High temp for the day was a whopping 122 degrees. In the distance is Amtrak's Sunset Limited.
BNSF 4002 S meets BNSF 5941 North at Academy. This vantage point is a great place to not only watch trains but also planes and sky divers from the US Air Force Academy.
