As well as it's steam locos, LBNGR has a large and varied collection of petrol engined locomotives, many of which worked on the line during it's days as an industrial sand-carrying line.
This vertical boiler locomotive was the first steam loco to arrive on the LBNGR in 1968. It was built in 1877 by DeWinton in Caernarfon, Wales and spent it's working life at various slate quarries... (more)
