I was fortunate enough to visit my old home a lot on conferences etc. and caught this guy blasting out of the now-gone tunnel with an eastbound.

A nice mixed motive power consist blasted eastward and is about to cross under I-15. ATSF liked to keep six-axle units with others of their type but broke the rule here.

This may have been the first time I really got to the summit and I was fortunate to find the "old" paint job with the new numbers on this westbound. Look at those cars just riding out in the open... (more)

I love those high desert colors now. I didn't really notice them a great deal at the time.

Coming down the north track in the early morning some of this train is still on Sullivans Curve as the headend is about to rejoin the south track. Nice variety.
