BNSF's Oregon Trunk is one of the few places left where manifest trains are commonplace. 5 locomotives, 4 on the front and one on the rear, pull a train up onto the high desert in eastern Oregon.

The H-Riverbank-Pasco 1-22 crosses the first of two bridges over the Deschutes River and is about to enter Tunnel No. 2, then onto another bridge.

Northbound local to Madras from Bend heads past Mt. Jefferson. Old habits die hard, and this crew called themselves the "BN OT" for the time we were with them.
