Late night at Watkins finds a set of NS pushers on the mainline and a westbound CSX empty hopper train in the siding. [Canon D60, ISO-400, 43 second exposure w/existing light.]

CSX pusher engines C200 have cut off from the rear of an eastbound loaded coal train at Watkins and are heading back west toward Big Stone Gap (and eventually Loyall, KY).

The second engine was pouring out smoke... unfortunately, you can't really see it unless the train was between you and the sun. Still this train makes for a beautiful scene!

CSX 744 rolls east with a loaded coal train on the former Southern Railway.

NS 7062 holds the T50 Frisco Local in place in the siding at Watkins as an eastbound CSX drops down the mainline.
