OC&E's last loaded log train is arriving at Klamath Falls.

The eastbound Bly Turn backs into the East Switchback. Lead unit OCE 7602 started out life as GE U25B demonstrator 2501.

Originally intended to be a branchline to Bonanza, the spur at Dairy crossed Oregon Highway 140 and served a small agricultural customer. An eastbound train of empties passes the wye in 1988.

The final trainload of logs hauled by Oregon, California & Eastern is passing through Olene Gap, ten miles from tie-up at Klamath Falls.

The first train of Weyerhaeuser's 1988 logging season heads east with empties for the reload at Bly. In less than two years, operations on OC&E would cease.

Prior to abandonment, Weyerhaeuser moved all equipment off the OC&E. One of the clean-up trains starts up the grade to the east switchback. The lead unit was originally GE demonstrator 2501.
